Chefville Cash Guide: Ways to get more coins and cash easily

In this post I will guide you to the ways to get more cash and coins in ChefVille.

What is Coins?
Coins are the main currency in ChefVille.

Uses
You will need coins to buy
# new equipment,
#supplies,
#decorations
#unlock new areas.

So the more coins you earn faster you can gain experience and progress through ChefVille.

Cash/Coin Guide
1. Serve To Customers- Your waiter will automatically serve meals to customers. However when you serve customers you will receive extra coins. The only catch is that each time you serve a customer yourself it costs energy. If you have some extra energy and need some coins, serve customers is a great way to spend energy.

2. Complete Goals- You will always have goals to complete, shown on the left side of your screen. Upon completion you will receive ingredients, XP and Coins! Be sure to complete the goals that are set for you.

3. Help Out Friends- You can help out each of your ChefVille friends 5 times each day. Each time you perform an action at your friend's restaurant coins will drop for you. The more friends you have on ChefVille the more coins you can collect each day!

4. Buy Coins- You can also buy coins for Cash if you choose to. Cash can be bought for real money. I wouldn't want to spend real money on a game, but the choice is up to you.

5. While You Were Away- Customers will continue to be served by your waiter while you are away from the game. Make sure you make enough food for your customers for the time you are not playing ChefVille. You will receive the coins once you log back into the game.

Chefville Guide :Some Rose Tips For Everyone Should Know

First you have to read Chefville Guide: Ways To Get Roses & Recommendations
I have found that when I just harvest my roses but don't worry about giving them to customers, they rack up. FAST. Now, be mindful, that you can only have 20 in your inventory at a time, but save your precious energy for more important things. Save up a good 15, and then in the morning (or when you've come back to full energy), rattle them all off. INSTANT jump. You know how they say a watched pot never boils? Same goes for the roses. If you harvest them, and then give them out as soon as they're harvested, it'll seem to take FORREEEVERRR to get the number required to unlock something new. So cook your dishes, focus on your visits, mastery stars, etc. (Keep an eye on the number of roses just so you don't waste any-- I spend them when I get to 15) Before you know it, you'll have a nice amount of recommendations in what seems like a pretty short while!

Neighbors can speed up your roses. You need to give these to customers so you can buy expansion property so if everyone would make just one of their visit clicks be on the roses display that would be fantastic!

Can everyone put your rose plants for recommendations by your restaurant door??? It will make it much easier for everyone to locate them to help you out and they don't have to waste time searching for it and can visit more neighbors faster??? Just a suggestion/thought. ** Remember when clicking on people visiting you, you should collect ready roses before starting your people on their rounds because then their click on the roses goes towards getting them to bloom faster once again. (takes time off the 8 hour wait)

Chefville Guide: Ways To Get Roses & Recommendations

In Chefville Roses & Recommendations are very important. Recommendation allow you to unlock and expand new areas for your cafe. The faster you expand your restaurant, the more customers you can have and the further you can progress through the game.
Getting Rose Chefville

Chefville Rose Stand
Chefville Rose Stand
Collect From Rose Stand-
First you must buy the Rose Stand from the Marketplace. Each time you collect from your Rose Stand you will be given 3 roses. Every 8 hours you will be able to collect these roses again. This is one of the best ways to obtain Roses in ChefVille.

Get From Friends
When you do not have any Roses left, try to collect recommendations. You will see a screen selling roses or ask you to "request". Click request and you will be able to request roses from your friends. In most cases the more friends you have the more total roses you will receive.

Buy With Cash
This is the third and most costly way of obtaining roses. You can simply buy roses for In-Game Cash (Which can be bought for real money).

Getting Recommendations

Chefville Recommendation for expanding areas
Chefville Restuarent
Recommendations are necessary for unlocking new areas in ChefVille. To get recommendations you must spend Roses on customers. When customers come into you restaurant they will sometimes have a Rose icon hovering over their head. This can only occur when you have food to serve to your customers.

Once you spend a Rose on your customer it will cost your 1 Energy. So make sure you pay attention to your energy levels when trying to obtain recommendations. Also note that there is currently a 80 maximum limit recommendation for each ChefVille player so use them wisely.

Chefville Guide: TOO MANY MUSHROOMS....NOT ENOUGH ONIONS??

From what I've seen mushrooms and onions need a space beside, or around them, to sprout new shoots (if shoots is the right word lol). So space your onions out every other spot in the area you're trying to grow them.

Mushroom control tip: like above they need room. so group your mushrooms in one small area and block them in with small shrubs, rocks, grass, whatever you have that will prevent space around them from being open. You could also fence them in. From what I've noticed the past week, if I block them in, they will not produce new ones needing to be cleared.

How do I post a link for requests?
Here are detailed instructions:

How do I find the last post (request) I placed on my wall?
Truthfully, keep your wall cleaned from outdated gaming requests from friends (delete or hide from wall). This will help others to find YOUR requests. and/or:
If you are using Timeline:
1. Go to your timeline profile
2. Click on the tab 'activity log' under your cover picture. A list of things you have posted should be there.
3. Look for the most recent post that you want... hint it should be on top of the list.
4. Click on the 'time' on the left, that will open up the link you just posted.
5. Then right click the link to copy link and paste it onto the groups wall.

Click on the "edit" button (green plus sign with arrows) then click on the green check. This should unfreeze your screen. This action will also cancel any action your Avatar is currently tasked with.

I've looked everywhere, how do I find an ingredient I'm missing?
When you click on the dish you want to cook and it shows you are missing an ingredient:
1. click on the arrow
2. click on show me
3. If a neighbor has the item, then their picture will be showing
4. Some ingredients you can click on "ask" and send out requests

How do I ask for ingredients?
When you try to cook an item and don't have it, click on "ask" and send out requests.
(only some ingredients offer this)

How do I stop/cancel my Avatar's actions in my own restaurant?
Cllick on the edit button and this will cancel your avatars sequence of events.

How do I get more energy?
Click on every wall post and it will go in to your inventory
Visit neighbors and complete 5 tasks

How do I edit/move my flooring?
Click the edit icon then look to your far left you will see a small floor plan icon. Click on that and you can edit your floors

I can't move. I cannot collect any cooked food from any of my appliances (stove, salad station, soup station). My avatar and waiter put their hands on their hips and just stand there.
Reload game (this happens on occasion)

How to trap your waiter (aka: teleporting dishes)
This technique goes thru dishes pretty fast, and is good for quickly clearing counters.
1. Remove all your tables from your restaurant so no customers come in.
2. Make note of where your waiters default idle position is. It's usually 6 spaces from the end of the path where customers come in.
3. Once you find his idle position, build a box around him using counters and deco. Make sure the box is completely enclosed around your waiter. It's best to give him some room so you can expand as needed later on.
4. Put your tables back in your restaurant.
5. Your waiter will now throw dishes at customers no matter how far away they are without walking to them. You still get credit for coins and he serves like normal.
You can trap him in other areas if you like, however everytime you log in he returns to his idle position, so building around his idle position ensures he'll be trapped on every login.

What am I supposed to do with my hearts (Reach limit)?
Purchase special items from the market

Why should I visit Madeline's Restaurant?
Here you will find rare items (i.e. apples, tuna, salmon, vegetables)

I've maxed out at 80 Recommendations and I have a quest telling me to get more, what do I do?
Submit a support ticket to Zynga

How do I get rid of Deadbeat Neighbors?
Currently the only way is to "unfriend" them in Facebook. This will remove them from your neighbor bar. (Hopefully Zynga will provide this option in the future.)

Why aren't my new FB friend I added not showing up in Chefville?
It can take up to 24hrs for newly added friends to show up (Zynga is working on this)

Is there a link just for Chefville feeds?

What are the limits within the game?
Currently:
Energy gained from neighbor visits per day is 25 total (As of 8/23)
Coins: 99,999
Recommendations: 80
Hearts: 100
Ingredients: Varies
Rose Stand: 1

Chefville Guide From Forum: The Master Chef Strategy Thread

Greetings Chefs!
I would like to welcome you all to ChefVille! I hope you are having as much fun as we are.
Most games require some strategy and this one is no different. Some of you have been really helpful sharing your tips for success here on the forums and I for one really appreciate that. I learn a lot from you folks!

This thread is dedicated to all of your best tips to help everyone get cookin' and become a Master Chef! You can DO it!

I'll start by listing a few of mine and everyone can add to it.
  • Let your neighbors do the work for you! Wait until the item is ready to harvest before accepting the visit and save the energy for something else you need.
  • Prep is everything! Always stock up on crafted ingredients during your down time so you're prepared when your recipes are ready.
  • Keep an eye on your limits, if you are full on flour time to make some dough etc.
  • Help your neighbors! When visiting neighbors help them out by using your free energy on things that take a long time to harvest like roses or chicken coops.
  • Get your onions from inactive neighbors and mushrooms from high levels who want to be rid of them!
  • Tasting neighbors dishes sometimes drops ingredients you need. This is a great way to get ingredients you haven't unlocked or those onions no one wants you to dig up in the yard.
  • Remember to check your stoves to see if you are due for an upgrade to unlock more dishes.
  • Use those hearts! Anytime I have 90 or so hearts saved up I buy more onions.

That's just off the top of my head so I'm sure most of you will have even better tips then I do.

Thanks!
Niki
